Fieldskills Ltd is a UK based expedition training company. We provide a wide range of training courses for adventure travellers, researchers, students, expedition leaders and many others.

We provide down to earth, hands-on practical training for overseas expeditions and fieldwork including training in Getting into Expedition Leading to learn hard and soft expedition skills, and Planning and Leading Expeditions which covers topics such as dynamic expedition risk assessment and crisis management planning. We also offer environment specific training for environments such as jungle and tropical forest, desert, savannah and mountain.

We also provide first aid training. Our courses are nationally recognised and use up to date protocols and scenario based training to allow you to get the most out of the courses. Our courses include emergency first aid, outdoor first aid and first aid at work.

As well as running open courses we specialise in designing bespoke in-house courses for a range of universities, schools, expedition companies and other organisations.

Ropeskills Rigging is the leading Borneo based rigging and rope access provider. We specialise in getting people safely into difficult places be that a film crew wanting to film in the rainforest canopy, commercial businesses needing access to buildings or towers, or adventure travellers, adventure racers or holiday companies wanting to develop recreational rock climbing or roped activities.

As keen climbers and experienced outdoor educators we specialise in Recreational Rigging including building and maintaining high ropes courses, zip lines and climbing walls. We also apply these skills to industrial rigging including construction, deconstruction, inspection, cleaning, maintenance and safety management and training. We are also market leaders in film rigging providing support to many major tv companies including remote access and safety, camera locations, trees, caves, cliff and structures.

Borneo based experts in expeditions, adventure travel and fieldwork

Fieldskills Adventures is a Borneo based adventure travel company and inbound travel agent. If you are looking for mountain biking, jungle trekking, camping, kayaking, white water rafting or just to get off the beaten track in low impact and social responsible small group tours then we are the people to speak to.

We work on two levels. Firstly we Design itineraries and provide project sourcing and logistical support to a range of adventure travel and expedition companies from the UK and Australia. This can range from supporting a small school group in finding a worthwhile local project as part of an expedition through to designing small group adventure travel itineraries or multi activity charity challenges for major UK clients. We also offer activities for individuals and small groups wanting to set up their own trips including Mountain biking and unique small group travel and adventure activities.
