2010 off to busy start with training at World Challenge, Leeds University and others...

We have been delighted to start the new year working with a number of high profile clients. Four days at Leeds University were followed closely by two days with World Challenge Expeditions. The Leeds masters students were a great group to work with, many exciting fieldwork projects will hopefully be aided by the days we spent there teaching first aid and fieldwork planning safety. The courses ended (undeterred by the snow still covering the ground) with an outdoor first aid scenario where the students not only had to deal with an unconscious casualty but also had to coordinate their evacuation from the field. This course was followed by a really interesting two days with World Challenge Expeditions. As many people know World Challenge are a leading youth expedition provider and it was great to see their set up in High Wycombe whilst running a two day Off-site safety management course for a group of their leaders, teachers, operations room and expedition planning staff. We are now looking forward to further course at Cranfield and Southampton Universities as well as the launch of our range of Cumbria based first aid courses.
