As a leading provider of ITC first aid training we have worked with them for over 5 years in developing and providing high quality first aid training. We are now excited to be working with them to help train and develop new trainers, and give you the chance to become a first aid trainer.

ITC award both HSE and QCA accredited first aid qualifications and in our opinion are the leading awarding organisation in supporting high quality first aid training across workplace and outdoor settings.

Through our train the trainer courses we will introduce you to high quality, interactive training methods, effective and regulated assessment procedures and also provide tips on running and managing a first aid business. Becoming an ITC trainer may not be the "quick and dirty" route into first aid training - but we believe that this is also its greatest strength - you get excellent quality train the trainer courses, ongoing support and robust, respected certification. We also believe the ITC course structure is excellent with well thought through teaching methods.

We provide a lot of support to our trainees in order to ensure we maintain the high standards of training that our business is known for, as well as that of ITC.

So how do I become a trainer?

  • To start you will need some experience and an active interest in first aid and the time and inclination to practice and learn.
  • You need to meet the initial criteria: a current First Aid at Work certificate and have, or intend, to gain an adult education qualification
  • Attend this 2 day induction course.
  • Study and practice - supported by your tutor - and then run your own course
  • This course will be assessed by a Fieldskills trainer - (at a further cost of £125).
  • If you are ready, you'll be signed off then and there to run the Emergency First Aid at Work course for yourself.
  • Full details of the complete process are in the downloadable course details.
