TERMS &
CONDITIONS
All Fieldskills courses involve some practical elements. In the case of first aid this may be just some bending and lifting inside the classroom, in other courses this may involve working outside in rough or even remote terrain. Clients are reminded of the importance of operating within their abilities and informing Fieldskills of any medical or other issues which may affect their active participation.
Where courses involve an outdoor element (and most of our courses do) we require clients to arrive with appropriate outdoor clothing which is warm and waterproof. Specific details will be given in the course joining instructions.
Clients should also understand that all outdoor activities are potentially hazardous and that they are obligated to agree to abide by safe practice as instructed. We also recommend that clients consider personal accident insurance if appropriate.
Payment details:
For individuals:
We require payment in full upon booking to confirm course places and require this a minimum of 1 month prior to the course.
In the case of delegate cancellation a 50% refund can be made up to four weeks before the course. Alternatively a place can be offered on an alternative course.
Within four weeks Fieldskills is unable to make any refund. All courses will run subject to minimum numbers. In case of cancellation on the part of Fieldskills a full refund will be made.
For groups:
We require a deposit of 25% to confirm the booking and hold the dates. This deposit is nonrefundable within one month of the course date.
We require the remaining 75% on completion of the course.
In the rare event of a cancellation on the part of Fieldskills a full refund will be made or alternative dates offered.
Where clients are providing a venue for a bespoke course the client takes responsibility for their venue and the health and safety provisions of that venue.
